Alive at 25 and Driver Improvement Courses

Alive at 25® Courses 

Some prosecutors, when offering a reduction to a driver under 25 years of age, will make the deal contingent on the driver taking the alive at 25 course. These courses are designed for younger drivers, take 4 hours to complete, are given in a classroom setting, and cost $60. Check out Alive at 25 Courses.

Currently, the classes are scheduled in Onondaga, Montgomery, and Rensselaer counties.  

New York Point Insurance Reduction Program 

The courses associated with this program are the usual DMV approved "defensive driving classes." These classes are online, or in classroom, take a little over 5 hours, and cost about $30-40. 

Once complete, New York drivers get 10% off on their insurance premiums and their point total is effectively reduced by 4. Note that the points do not go away, they are ignored for suspension purposes. Learn how it works and see a class list.

Excellent experience with this law firm from Syracuse. Mr. Seth Azria Esq. handled my speeding ticket in Watertown, NY with no problem for a reasonable $ 250 fee and saved me a plethora of points and high insurance rates. It was difficult to be a tourist with an out of state license plate on a rental car and not being familiar with local speed traps of 30 mph.... I would use the Azria & Bruffett Law Firm again in a minute if I ever get another ticket in NY. It is especially handy that they will take credit cards over the phone or online. Some firms I checked with required cash and I had already left the state.

Drivers License Revocation

Recently I lost my drivers license due to receiving multiple tickets in a six month period. Along with that I had a misdemeanor and some other points on my license record. I had received a notice from dmv and was going to have to be without my drivers license for 2 years. I got in contact with Seth Azria at the Azria Law Office to see if there was anything at all I could do about my predicament. Seth Azria worked on my case and within a short amount of time I got a notice in the mail from dmv saying that the revocation order for my license has been rescinded. Once again David Bruffett was able to help my husband with a speeding ticket. He was able to reduce his 2 point speeding ticket to ZERO points/ min moving violation.
