Do I have to go to court for a speeding ticket?

Most Speeding Tickets Require No Appearance

In Onondaga County and most other counties in Upstate and Central New York, your speeding charge will not require an appearance in court. We will handle those speeding tickets by mail, email, and fax.

But a Few are Appearance Courts

However, there are some courts, particularly in the capital region and downstate that require an appearance for every ticket of any kind. But you still won't have to go to court as we can appear on your behalf with a sign waiver.

Either Way You Won't Have to Go

Either way, you will not have to show up. The difference for you is the amount of the fee. We have to charge more for cases that involve extra attorney time to be in court.

I had received a speeding ticket a few months ago that would have been 5 points 20 MPH over the speed limit. I had not had a speeding ticket in a very long time and I was hesitant when looking for a lawyer but I saw good reviews about Seth Azria and decided to email him with my information.
